Promise Keepers - A Movement Reignited to Reach the Next Generation

Today, we’re on the move again. Under the new leadership of Ken Harrison, we’re praying for massive revival and transformation in our nation by 2025. You’re invited to join with us. More than ever, America needs a revival of godly men. Our nation faces problems that can only be overcome when men of integrity — promisekeeping men — fulfill their destinies as godly husbands, fathers, and leaders.

Who is sponsoring the Simulcast?

Our small group of Taneytown Christian men have been meeting regularly for over 6 years now. We meet twice per month - once to discuss our current book or Bible chapter and once to have dinner and life oriented conversation together. You are invited to join us for fellowship, accountability and certainly personal and spiritual growth.

What should I bring?

A Bible, a notepad/pen and an open heart - ready to hear what God has for you.

Let's Pray Simultaneously Today at Noon EDT on the Annual National Day of PrayerNDOP

Did you know that today, the first Thursday of May, is the 64th annual National Day of Prayer?

Did you know this designation is a law passed by The United States Congress?

Did you know that each year the President of the United States signs an annual proclamation declaring the first Thursday in May as a National Day of Prayer?

Did you know that millions of people will gather today in thousands of locations to pray for our nation?

The mission of the National Day of Prayer Committee is "to mobilize prayer in America and to encourage personal repentance and righteousness in the culture."

This year's theme is, "Lord, Hear our Cry" from 1 Kings 8:28 which says, "Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day."

This year's special prayer, which we all are encouraged to publicly or privately read simultaneously at noon EDT today is as follows:

Heavenly Father,

We come to You in the Name that is above every name—Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Our hearts cry out to You.

Knowing that You are a prayer-answering, faithful God—the One we trust in times like these—we ask that You renew our spirits, revive our churches, and heal our land.

We repent of our sins and ask for Your grace and power to save us. Hear our cry, oh God, and pour out Your Spirit upon us that we may walk in obedience to Your Word.

We are desperate for Your tender mercies. We are broken and humbled before You.

Forgive us, and in the power of Your great love, lift us up to live in Your righteousness.

We pray for our beloved nation. May we repent and return to You and be a light to the nations. And we pray for our leaders and ask that You give them wisdom and faith to follow You.

Preserve and protect us, for You are our refuge and only hope.

Deliver us from all fears except to fear You, and may we courageously stand in the Truth that sets us free.

We pray with expectant faith and grateful hearts.

In Jesus’ name, our Savior.

Amen.

Let's all set a calendar reminder for noon EDT today and pray this prayer in unison. Please share this post and let's get the word out!

Are you in?

Until every church disciples every man…

Pat

We are enthusiastic supporters of DadsWorks

Mr. David Berry has let God use him to do some awesome things for men in and around Westminster, MD. Recently, he has expanded (with his wife Diane's help) into serving women as well. Teaching relationship and life skills to those less fortunate.

One of his premier yearly events is the Daddy-Daughter Dance. This is the 7th year for creating relational memories between a father and his daughter. This relationship often is the foundation for a girls self-worth. She needs to feel valued and protected by her father in order to develop healthy relationships in life.

How about making an investment in your daughter and simultaneously support David in his work ?

" There is no situation so chaotic that God cannot from that situation create something that is surpassingly good. He did it at the creation. He did it at the cross. He is doing it today. "
